Sorry for being so crap lately, I've just been soooo busy at Animation Mentor. The course is going well and I'm going to get more of my stuff rendered so I can post it up here. Just finished term 2, for which I had another amazing mentor, James Chiang. A real animation master who's credits include supervising animation on Surf's up! Needless to say I hung on his every word and learned all I could from my time with him. Next up Mark Pudleiner, a real Disney veteran who animated on Tarzan, Mulan, Emperor's new groove, Hunchback of Notre Dame and more recently Shrek 2 and Meet the Robinson's. Can't wait! AM is really the best thing I ever chose to do, it's exceeded all my expectations. This next term I will be on 'advanced body mechanics' so I get a lot more freedom to really push myself on some more advanced action shots in the form of a 3 shot sequence on a theme. Tis gonna be fun!
Outside of AM I've not been up to much. Still going to circus when I can make it, been to a few parties and I'm going to see 'How to train your Dragon' at the IMAX in London this weekend with my fellow UK AMers. Looks AMAZING can't wait to see it!
Anyways hope you're all well, let me know how you're all doing! Not been here for a while so missed a lot of journals!
All my best,
Lisa
